MY EXPERIENCE IN THE TWINNING CLUB- LSU LONDON (OCT-DEC 2018)
Hi everyone!!
I'm saying Good Bye, because It will be my last post in this blog by the moment.
I say by the moment because I loved this project and the activities where we are involved in this time, and I would like to repeat with amazing and new projects next time!
This program has been amazing for me and my experience, and for everybody who has been involved in the program and their experience. So, it has been something what have done just good things and good repercussions in everybody.
It has been beautiful see the process at the beginning until the end. For example, in the first session that we have just there were four girls, but next ones, there were around ten girls of average. Also, First time that I was in the school any of the girls (13 or 14 years old) knowed about the conflict in Palestine, or maybe some of them knowed about "it's happening something like people die" because I watched in the tv. News are telling deshumanized things and sometimes a fake information or not all the true. We have to STOP THAT and one step is making awareness. A good way to do is making to people feel empathetic with that; for a moment, they have to think about and judge for themselves If it's fair or unfair. And the most beautiful is they can help and teach another people to do that.
I'm really happy, because I know that these girls who received information and education about the conflict, sent and received letter from Abu Dis and feel and be empathetic with girls with the same age as them, will be close to help Palestinian people or whatever nationality who don't have the same rights or human rights. Because everyone is human and everyone deserves the same rights and be in a fair world.
Remember that doing little things you can get and make big results.

LSU VISIT TO CAFÉ PALESTINA IN LONDON
HI EVERYONE AGAIN!!!
LAST WEEK WE ORGANIZED AN IMPORTANT EVENT. THE GIRLS FROM LSU SCHOOL VISIT US IN THE CAFÉ PALESTINA AND EVERYONE ENJOYED SO MUCH.
We did some activities that day, the girls was very happy because it was a trip outside the school for them and they really wanted to meet CADFA and CAFÉ PALESTINA. It was amazing, there was more time to do activities because we took the time of their lunch in the school.
-First, they enjoyed a palestinian lunch.
Delicious hummus, kibbe, olives, palestian bread.... Most of them have never tried palestinian food, so it was a good experience for them and they learnt about the Palestine gastronomy culture.
- Second, they played with a boardgame. I will explain what is the dinamic of this game.
So, We have a boardgame where you have a way. Everybody start in the same point at the beginning and you have to try reach the finish by azar with a die and cards. So, the first that you have to do is throw a die and move your piece in order to the puntuation of the die. Then, you have to take one card that there are a lot in the middle of the boardgame. When you take a card you have to read so, you have two options with these cards, advance with your peace or move back. That's depend what is in the card. If there are difficulties like "The goverment is cutting my family olive trees" you will move back and If there are opportunities and good things like "My father can buy some books for the school" you can advace.

Above all, this boardgame is really good, because it's a representation of the Palestinian people lifes. You can realize what difficult can be their lifes when you can't advance with problems what are very obvius and they are always in the life of european people, but they are very common in another societies, because they don't have the same right as us.
I recommend alot this game, because it's very usefull and nice to educate because it's really funny, interesting and give the chance to empathize.
MOVIE PROPOSAL IN LONDON
HELLO EVERYBODY!!
I hope you are very well.
One of our activities was to watch everybody together a fantastic film in the TWINNING CLUB.
But we couldn't watch the film in this time because the time we spent in the Twinning Club wasn't too much.
So I recommended the film for the girls, and they can watch it with their families in their homes. Also, I will recommend for everybody who read this post.
The film's name is THE IDOL.
It was the first film that I watched about Palestine. I liked so much that nowadays I recommend to everybody.
Then, I will explain The Plot:
It's a perfect film to realize about some problems of Palestinian people and the difficulties that they are resisting nowadays. But, under a point of view, where the end is good and there is not violence in the film. It's emotive and show very good values.
YOU WILL ENJOY AND LEARN IF YOU WATCH THE FILM!!
SEE YOU! xxxx

It was the first film that I watched about Palestine. I liked so much that nowadays I recommend to everybody.
Then, I will explain The Plot:
The Idol tells a fictionalized version of the life of Mohammed Assaf wedding singer from a refugee camp in Gaza who went to win 2013's Arab Idol singing competition.
The film starts out in 2005 in Gaza. Mohammed is a young child, playing in a band together with his tomboy sister Nour and two friends. Recognizing the possibilities Mohammed's incredible voice has to offer, they set out to become a real band and are soon asked to play at weddings. Nour, however, collapses during a performance and is found to have kidney failure, requiring her to undergo weekly dialysis or for her family to buy her a kidney transplant. As the transplant is far too expensive, Mohammed makes it his goal to raise enough money as a singer to purchase it. He takes singing lessons and befriends a girl named Amal, also suffering from kidney disease, during Nour's dialysis sessions. In spite of treatment, Nour dies, and Mohammed is left disillusioned and depressed.
Seven years later, in 2012, Mohammed performs with a band for the show Palestinian Idol, but the travel restrictions on Gaza prevent him from actually going to the studio in Ramallah and force him to perform over Skype. The poor conditions of Gaza electricity affect the performance, frustrating Mohammed, who wants to quit singing until he meets Amal again. She inspires him, and with the support of his family, Mohammed decides to audition for Arab Idol. Crossing the border from Gaza into Egypt, where the auditions will take place, is near impossible, and Mohammed gets caught with a fake passport at the Rafah Border Closing, but after performing a religious song for the border clerk, he is admitted through, with a warning that it may be difficult for him to ever return. In Cairo, Mohammed finds the auditions already underway and all the slots taken, forcing him to break into the building where a young singer offers Mohammed his slot after hearing him sing on the toilet. Mohammed successfully auditions for the show and is soon is allowed a pass to Beirut to take part in the main competition.
As the show progresses, Mohammed's reputation grows among the Palestinians, who are shown to be ecstatic that a Palestinian man is performing so well and winning such acclaim, emboldening the Palestinian national pride and inspiring hope and optimism. The pressure of this gets to Mohammed, who has a panic attack right before an important rehearsal. With the support of one of the audition judges and Amal (over the phone), Mohammed picks himself up and gets back to performing. The film ends by switching to real-life footage of Mohammed Assaf winning the Arab Idol title, followed by a brief overview of Assaf's life after the finale.
It's a perfect film to realize about some problems of Palestinian people and the difficulties that they are resisting nowadays. But, under a point of view, where the end is good and there is not violence in the film. It's emotive and show very good values.
